I have never in my life witnessed such blatant racism as this How can this be looked upon as legal? According to the latest election poll, the BNP have a 16% following - what. Did we send 110,000 people to their death so we could just grow our own Hitlers?
I'm English and I'm ashamed. Ashamed that we have people like Nick Griffin in what seems to be a strange, elevated seat of power. Our country has it's problems, Mr Blair is a puppet and shows no sign of being house trained but at least he sees the benefit of a multi cultural society.

Rant, Rant, Rant. Sorry everyone. My minds all twisted now - can someone finish of this post and maybe re-arrange it so it has structure and makes sense?!
Having read the BNP website this morning, I'm astounded that anyone would buy into such a flagrantly unworkable political framework, let alone blindly accept overt racism as perfectly natural.
The BNP's resettlement plan is as close to Naziism as a British political party has come since Mosely: before the final solution was mooted at the Wannsee Conference, the Nazis considered resettling their Jewish population on Madagascar. Naziism, however, is not the issue: bandying about such emotive words distracts from the actual problems of a growing far right.
For examplem, the forced ejection of innocent inhabitants is a policy which opens up more extreme manners of dealing with undesirables (cf. the escalation in violence in Iraqi jails as British and American troops come to see their charges are less than human; the social problems France faces through lack of civil recognition for immigrants from ex colonies; the complicity of civilians in genocidal conflicts such as the Balkan Crisis and Rwanda: all stem from the privileging of one group over another).
When the BNP state that they will strengthen ries with the Commonwealth, they forget that these countries are held together by a shared history of imperial subjugation, not a shared interest in 'Britishness'. They also seem to ignore the fact that Canada is an open, inclusive society, and that, were Australia to adopt and follow the BNP's policies in a logical fashion, white Australians would all be repatriated: they are not indiginous, and they are not native. They are an immigrant group who have, quite genuinely, ruined a native people's way of life.
Assertions such as "we, the native British people, will be an ethnic minority in our own country within sixty years" show a flagrant lack of demogrpahic comprehension. For one, what does 'native' mean? Do we count only people of purely Celtic descent (the traditional 'base race' for discussions of 'British culture')? Do we count those related to Roman, Saxon, Norse and French invaders as British? What about children with parents who fall outside the racial catchment area? Nick Griffin would like to paint the picture of the British as a homogenous group, but the truth is that our proud island's history includes enough invasion, cultural mixing, and foreign misadventure to ensure that 'Britishness' is inextricably linked to cultural diversity and coexistance with those who fall into the BNP's 'other'.
I also feel ashamed to link myself with a national identity based on a fear of people who don't look like me. If our idea of 'Britishness' is restricted to mean 'white' or 'native', we are most certainly entering the period of decline that the BNP are campaigning against.

The current apathetic response to the rise of the BNP appalls me. Why doesn't anyone find these people and string them up. How come, in the 21st century, men can go around being so casually, publically racist, and get away with it? Why can we vote for them - there should be no tickbox for them?
Lapin is right. We are the product of many races and peoples already. If the BNP have their way, the only folks left on this island will be a few families from Essex and toffs with proven bloodlines. It's all very upsetting.

I don't know if the response is apathetic... it certainly inspired me to vote (though the choice of Green, Galloway or mad-looking-hippy-bloke was less than inspiring).
The thing that's most disturbing is that I was under the impression that, in the U of K, we had laws to prevent incitement of racial hatred. The BNP website, and the continuing publication of the Daily Mail, Sun etc sadly seems to prove me wrong.
Although it's mildly entertaining to watch the damp liberals chase their free-speech tail.
